​Our Tech-Driven Approach ​

​To give our patients a quality eye exam, we use a variety of technology to view all parts of the eye. Our practices uses a few key devices, depending on each patient’s requirements and the parts of the eye that need to be viewed, to check for any eye conditions, diseases, and overall health.  Eye exams are a comprehensive look at your vision and eye health, but imaging technology will not cause any pain and discomfort and should only take a few minutes.

Computerized Phoropter​​

A phoropter uses a variety of lenses to detect errors in vision, also called refractive errors. In our practice, we use a digital phoropter, which can detect these refractive errors more quickly and efficiently.

Optos Retinal Imaging​

Optos retinal imaging is a wide-field imaging system that can capture around 50% more of the retina in an Optomap image. Retinal imaging uses lasers to take an image of the retina and blood vessels in the back of the eye, which can show if conditions such as glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, or diabetic retinopathy are present.

A portable headset to perform visual field tests, color vision exams, and more. The headset is designed to be patient-friendly and comfortable, and can be used in an exam chair or at a table. Virtual Field offers a variety of diagnostic products, including:
